AT&T Stadium to Host Historic 100th East-West Shrine Bowl in January 2025

The iconic AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home to the Dallas Cowboys, has been selected as the venue for the centennial edition of the East-West Shrine Bowl. Shriners Children’s, the organizer of the event, made the announcement that the 100th Shrine Bowl will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The game, which will kick off at 7 p.m. Central Time, is set to be nationally broadcast on NFL Network, ensuring prime-time exposure for this momentous occasion.

Bob Roller, Vice President of Sports for Shriners Children’s, expressed the significance of the milestone: “We are thrilled to bring our centennial game to one of the world’s most incredible sports venues. The East-West Shrine Bowl has had a transformational impact on the lives of children for a century. The nation’s best college football all-stars taking the field at AT&T Stadium is truly a fitting celebration of this historic milestone.”

Since its inception in 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl has served as both a prestigious college all-star game and a significant fundraiser for Shriners Children’s. The game’s proceeds support the organization’s mission to provide specialized medical care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of their families’ financial situation or insurance coverage.

Stephen Jones, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the Dallas Cowboys, underscored the importance of hosting the game at AT&T Stadium. “We’re delighted to showcase the best college football players in the country with the 100th edition of the historic East-West Shrine Bowl at AT&T Stadium in January,” Jones stated. “It’s an honor to once again host a college football game of this significance. We look forward to bringing the top college football players in the country to North Texas, all with a focus on helping Shriners Children’s and their mission.”

The East-West Shrine Bowl provides an unparalleled platform for the nation’s top college football players to demonstrate their skills in front of scouts, coaches, and executives from all 32 NFL teams. It serves as a critical stepping stone for aspiring NFL athletes, with numerous alumni having gone on to become legends in the sport. Notable past participants include Hall of Famers such as Tom Brady, Walter Payton, and John Elway, as well as current NFL standouts like Brock Purdy, Zay Flowers, and Isiah Pacheco.

As preparations for this historic event continue, the 100th East-West Shrine Bowl promises to not only showcase elite football talent but also to further the mission of Shriners Children’s, a century-old institution dedicated to improving the lives of children in need across the nation.
