Mozee plans to relocate its U.S. headquarters and establish a manufacturing facility in Arlington, aiming to deploy autonomous electric shuttles to improve mobility within the city’s Entertainment District.
Mozee’s 12-passenger autonomous shuttles, capable of speeds up to 45 miles per hour, are designed to alleviate congestion and provide efficient transportation for residents and visitors. The company’s relocation includes a commitment to create over 100 jobs with an average salary of $100,000, emphasizing local recruitment and collaboration with the University of Texas at Arlington.
The Arlington Economic Development Corporation has approved a financial incentive package totaling up to $4.17 million to support Mozee’s establishment in the city. This initiative aligns with Arlington’s strategic plan to foster innovation and address mobility challenges, particularly as the city prepares to host nine World Cup matches at AT&T Stadium in 2026.
Arlington Mayor Jim Ross has expressed enthusiasm for integrating autonomous transit solutions, such as those offered by Mozee, to enhance connectivity and reduce traffic congestion.
